BEE FRIENDLY participates to FEST’A BUZET on July 13!

The cooperative Les Vignerons de Buzet organize on July 13 a festive summer day, the FEST’A BUZET to gather family and friends of the afternoon until late at night.

On the program: walks through vineyards, uncovered of the wine cellar, gourmet meetings with local producers, games for children, bandas, DJ and of course, at night … the firework!

Bee Friendly team will lead a workshop during the day to inform children and adults about the issues of the protection of bees and beekeeping exciting profession.

Summer 2014 to Spring 2015 – Les Vignerons de Buzet, first wine producers committed in BEE FRIENDLY process !

CHATEAU DE GUEYZE ROSE 2014 COL 2The cooperative Les Vignerons de Buzet committed since last summer to Bee Friendly process. For this pioneering commitment to beekeepers, wine growers wanted to go further in their long-term actions for biodiversity, working especially in the preservation of bees and their ecosystems.

The wine that protects bees!

The fruits of their actions was materialised by obtaining their first certificate BEE FRIENDLY early 2015. The wine from the terroir of Gueyze officially labelled BEE FRIENDLY.

You can already find in stores and online purchase wine rosé from terroir of Gueyze, bottled this spring.

Olivier Belval, President of BEE FRIENDLY, presents the approach and partnership with « Demain La Terre » at the Palais du Luxembourg.

demainlaterreThe conference organized by the association of fruit and vegetables growers « Demain La Terre » was held at le Palais du Luxembourg in the presence of Jean-Pierre Raffarin, Vice-President of the Senate and Stephane Le Foll, Minister of Agriculture. The challenge was to present ecological and responsible agricultural practices developed over many years by its eight members. Conservation of pollinators was honored through the participation of Olivier Belval, President of UNAF and BEE FRIENDLY at the roundtable.
